Aloha APA Hawaii Chapter Members,
We understand many of us are working through furloughs, budget cuts, and lay-offs at work; and we are all figuring out how to adjust to quarantine-life; new ways to support our friends & family, and for our communities; including this community of payroll professionals in Hawaii. Due to the current social distancing orders, the APA Hawaii Chapter Board Officers have decided the Hawaii Chapter will take a hiatus this Fiscal Year 2020-2021.
- We will adhere to social distancing orders and will not be planning any in-person meetings; nor sponsoring FPC/CPP Study Group this year
- APA Hawaii Chapter will honor Chapter memberships from 2019-2020 FY into 2020-2021 FY.
- We will not be collecting membership dues this year.
- We intend continue to serve & support each other & will post virtual classes/courses on our website
While many of us may be working for companies that are cutting budgets and possibly jobs, APA National has offered to present the annual Preparing for Year End course virtually this year. Please reply to [email protected] if you or members of your organization would like us to coordinate the annual course virtually for Hawaii Chapter.
Lastly, please let us know how you are doing and if you have any suggestions.
Please stay well, safe, & positive.
